The JHAH Network is composed of 10 Districts which correspond to the nationally established governmental districts. Each District is headed by a District Committee elected by its members, who oversee the activities of the district as they coordinate with the national Network office strategic plan as agreed to each year by member representatives at the Annual General Meeting.

Members of these districts include local churches, non-governmental organisations and community-based organisations which join with the intent to encourage and promote genuine dialogue within the member organisations and communities they serve, so that people can work together in analysing the root causes of poverty and identifying their common problems, and devising strategies to address them collectively.

Members who join a JHAH District are automatically joined to and accountable to the national Network office. Occasional exceptions allow a member to join the national Network directly without being connected to a particular district. As such, the distribution of membership throughout the country is an effort to not only strengthen the involvement and cooperation of the people at their grassroots community levels but also to broaden the scope by linking all areas of the country into a common purpose for positive and constructive growth.
